The Padma Bhushan was awarded to 19 individuals, including economist Bibek Debroy (posthumous), ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas, and hockey star P. R. Sreejesh. With 113 Padma Shri awards, this year’s honors highlight excellence in arts, education, trade, and medicine, including 23 women and 13 posthumous recipients.
