MPSC Syllabus: Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conduct the MPSC Rajseva Examination for the recruitment of Grade A officers in the Maharashtra Administrative Service. MPSC has delineated the MPSC syllabus for Prelims, Mains. The candidate can download the MPSC Syllabus from the Official website or from the links given below.

MPSC Preliminary Exam consists of two papers, both objective (MCQ-based), conducted in English and Marathi. Each paper is 2 hours long and carries 200 marks. The  Mains exam consists of six papers, all descriptive except for the language papers, which have both descriptive and objective components. The total marks are 800, and the medium is English and Marathi (except for language-specific sections). The MPSC Syllabus is given below.

Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts the State Services Examination (commonly known as MPSC Rajyaseva) to recruit candidates for various administrative positions in the Maharashtra state government. MPSC Prelims Syllabus 2025

MPSC Prelims Syllabus for the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) State Services Exam (Rajyaseva) is designed to screen candidates for the Mains Examination. The Prelims consist of two objective papers (MCQs) with a total of 400 marks. Each paper is 2 hours long, with a negative marking of 1/4th mark per wrong answer. Paper II (CSAT) is a qualifying exam (a minimum of 33% is required).

    • Maharashtra and India: Political system, Panchayati Raj, public policy, urban governance.
  • Economic and Social Development:
    • Sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics.
    • Social sector initiatives (health, education, welfare schemes).
    • Maharashtra-specific economic issues (agriculture, industry, cooperatives).
  • Environmental Ecology, Biodiversity, and Climate Change:
    • General issues (no subject specialisation required).

Paper II: CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test)

1. MPSC Prelims Syllabus

पूर्वपरीक्षा ही वस्तुनिष्ठ (Objective) असते. दोन पेपर असतात, प्रत्येकी २०० गुणांचे. नकारात्मक गुणांकन (Negative Marking) आहे: प्रत्येक चुकीच्या उत्तरासाठी १/४ गुण कपात.
