1.Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Bill, 2025: The Rajasthan government has recently introduced the Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Bill, 2025 in the State Assembly to prevent religious conversions by force, fraud, or inducement.

  • Anto coversion law at national level: There is no national anti-conversion law in India, but many states have enacted their own laws.
  • Constitutional provisions: Article 25 of the Indian Constitution: Guarantees the fundamental right to freedom of religion and encompasses various aspects related to the freedom to profess, practice, and propagate religion.

o However, there is no mention of conversion in the Constitution anywhere.
