ESG PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME (Syllabus: GS Paper 2 – Govt Policies)

Context: The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), has joined hands with HP India to introduce ‘HP Future Impact Leaders - IICA Certified Environmental – Social - Governance (ESG) Professional Programme’.

• About: The initiative targets promoting sustainability and empowering CSR professionals to become leaders in navigating ESG frameworks.
• Scholarship Offerings: HP India and IICA offer full scholarships to 75 candidates, eliminating financial barriers for pursuing advanced education in ESG.
• Commitment to Sustainable Business Practices: The initiative underscores a joint commitment to fostering sustainable business practices and driving positive societal impact.
• Comprehensive Course on ESG: The initiative offers a comprehensive six-month course on ESG, covering its philosophy, principles, relevance, and implications, with self-paced online modules and interactive master classes.
• Professionals' Involvement: Renowned ESG professionals of international and national repute are engaged in delivering live interactive master classes, providing valuable insights.
• In-Person Networking Opportunity: Participants will have a chance to meet their peers in an in-person session, fostering networking and collaboration among professionals.
• Target Audience and Eligibility Criteria: The programme caters to professionals in BHR, ESG, EHS, sustainability, and CSR fields, requiring a bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of relevant experience for eligibility.
