Definition: Agricultural Produce Market Committee	APMC is a statutory market committee constituted by a State Government in respect of trade in certain notified agricultural or horticultural or livestock products, under the Agricultural Produce Market Committee Act issued by that state government.
Post Harvest Losses	While the production of various crops has reached record levels of (315 mts in 2021-22), it has not translated into increased farmer remuneration on account of weak distribution, storage & transport infrastructure, leading to a post harvest loss of 10-15%.
PDS System	The Public Distribution System (PDS) evolved as a system of management of scarcity through distribution of foodgrains at affordable prices, thus ensuring food and nutritional security in India
Agriculture Export	India's agricultural export touched a new milestone by crossing $50 billion in FY22, the highest level ever achieved for agriculture exports.
