Nyaya Vikas Portal:
- Developed by: Ministry of Law and Justice with technical assistance of NRSC, ISRO, to facilitate better delivery of judicial infrastructural projects.
- Purpose: This portal helps in empowering stakeholders with seamless access to information about funding, documentation, project monitoring and approval.
Central assistance is provided to the State Government / UT Administrations for construction of court halls and residential units for Judicial Officers / Judges of District and Subordinate Courts.

Kedarnath vs State of Bihar (1962):
- The Court held that sedition law (IPC Section 124 A) is constitutionally valid for two reasons:
- Government is a visible symbol of state and the existence of the state will be in jeopardy if the government is subverted.
- Reasonable restrictions: Article 19(2) imposes restrictions in the interest of the security of the state, which has wider amplitude.
- 279th Report (Law Commission): It has recommended the retention of Section 124A of the Indian Penal Code which contains the law of sedition. It has also recommended enhanced punishment this offence.
DEFINITION
Climate Justice:
- Definition: Climate justice is a concept that addresses the just division, fair sharing, and equitable distribution of the burdens of climate change and its mitigation and responsibilities to deal with climate change.
- Climate Justice looks at the climate crisis through an equality and human rights lens, rather than just as an environmental issue.
- Definition: The One Sun One World One Grid (OSOWOG) initiative was put forth by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, at the First Assembly of the International Solar Alliance in 2018. The initiative aims at connecting renewable energy supply across international borders through a common grid.
- The vision behind the OSOWOG initiative is the mantra that “the sun never sets”.
